The Mimic Rage's Book Maps
Updated: 2026-08-05
Facility Layout Overview
Rage Chapter I maps replace shrine compounds with a sealed facility: Entrance Seal, Service Corridors, Security/Control Room, Objective Wings, and the Purification Chamber. Fixed layouts — not procedural — so callouts stay stable across squads.
Assume spawn-facing into the primary breach axis unless a cutscene reorients you. Industrial props create narrower turns than Jealousy bridges; camera readiness matters on mobile.
Use this page with the Rage Chapter 1 guide for objective order and Rage entities for spawn pressure per wing.
Key Rooms & Callouts
Entrance Seal — explosives/objective staging; do not linger after the breach opens. Service Corridors — main chase arteries with T-junction break-sight options. Security/Control Room — terminal and ID interactions including the community-noted 798 sequence.
Objective Wings hold fetch/eliminate targets tied to radio prompts. Purification Chamber is the late-chapter lock space — learn the exit vector before starting the countdown.
LFG callouts stay in English (Seal, Security, Purification) even in multilingual parties for speed.
Recommended Loops
Learning loop: Seal → Corridors → Security terminal → Objective Wing A → back through Corridors → Purification. Skip optional lore alcoves until you have a clean clear.
Fail-recovery loop: if purification fails or a hostile soft-locks a wing, retreat to the last confirmed safe T-junction rather than sprinting to spawn memory from Control maps.
Speed loop: pre-assign who touches terminals in co-op so the runner never double-backs through Security under chase.
Map Tips
Mark one-way shutters on your first clear — facility geometry loves false reverse exits. Crouch on metal grate transitions to cut footstep tell volume.
Lantern brightness helps dark service legs but can silhouette you down long halls — dim when holding a corner against a stalker cue.
Controls: Shift sprint on PC, L2 on Xbox — see controls. Redeem RAGERELEASE before marathon learning sessions.
